Supermarché de l’Art is a one-day Calgary art market created to make art feel more approachable, affordable, and welcoming.

 

Organized by S.M.Art, a local non-profit arts association, the event invites people to browse through artwork in a hands-on way, ask questions, meet local artists, and discover pieces they genuinely connect with.

 

We really encourage artists to be present during the event because it creates something special when people can meet the person behind the work, hear the stories, and make a real connection with both the artist and the art itself.

 

The goal is simple: to make art feel less intimidating and more personal, interactive, and accessible to everyone.
