We’re building a one-day art market that feels welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely fun, and we’re always excited to meet artists who want to be part of it.

S.M.Art – Supermarché de l’Art is a Calgary-based non-profit event designed to make art more approachable and create real connections between artists and the public. Artwork is displayed in an open, hands-on way that encourages people to browse, ask questions, and connect naturally with the work.

We’re looking for around 50 local artists across different mediums and experience levels. Artists are encouraged to attend during the event, as it helps create a real connection between the artist, the artwork, and the people discovering it.

​

Applications are open until September 15, 2026, but may close earlier if spots fill up. A $75 participation fee applies if selected, along with a 15% commission on sales to help support the event as a non-profit.
